Arrowood Sonoma County Chardonnay 2004
E-mail this item from International CellarArrowood Sonoma County Chardonnay 2004 We believe that our finest wines are those that best reflect their terroir, or the vineyards in which they were grown. The grapes for our 2004 Sonoma County Chardonnay come from the cool growing regions of Russian River Valley and Sonoma-Los Carneros. These areas yield fruit that is full of vibrant tropical and citrus fruits, and in turn, a rich, complex, and perfectly balanced wine. Wine Advocate The 2004 Chardonnay offers attractive pineapple, lemon blossom, and citrus oil aromas, a subtle hint of wood, medium body, good texture, and a ripe, heady finish. Drink it over the next 1-3 years. Despite the tumultuous events associated with the sale to the Mondavi winery, Dick Arrowood remains in control of his family estate. His wines are always beautifully pure, elegant, and exceptionally well-balanced. Score: 90. —Robert Parker, December 2005. |
