Crisp, tropical fruit aromas and notes. Great acidity lends itself to food or on its own consumption. From the home vineyard of a long ago winery named Milano, we harvest this vineyard at optimal sugar levels to ensure ripe fruit that isn't laden down with too much alcohol. Combine this growing technique with the warm summer days and cool breezy nights of the Sanel Valley (near Mendocino County in the North), and one finds a crisp well balanced Chard that exhibits all that this varietal can be! We stay away from oaking this one, which allows the acid and tropical fruit characteristics to marry in a splashing crescendo of flavor... makes you want to have some, doesn't it?
